Help me put a bad beat on Cancer and Humbertos shark

Humberto will play along lke its funny regardless esp if there is cameras around. We were giving him a really hard time at the televised FT that TravestyFund made this WSOP. Some ESPN guy said it was the only time someone has been booed at a final table.

He just kept shining a laser pointer at us and yelling his name.

This is already a bad idea for this exact reason. Its not going to be funny and its ust going to give Humberto more attention which is bad for poker and for my sanity. Raise the money quitely let this thread die and do it in a funny way without him knowing about it.

Also dont do it if you are going to keep any of the money for yourself imo.

I was inclined to agree with all this, but then I realized that 1) Humberto is already aware of the attention he is capable of generating 2) He obviously likes the persona he displays for the cameras and doesn't care what gringos think about his antics, and, like you said earlier, he handles open animosity pretty well and is basically a good sport, for which you gotta give him credit. Finally 3) you're sanity is f'd anyay, because Humberto makes three final tables a year and he ain't goin' nowhere.

I'd be willing to get behind this, but like others, I think that you profiting directly is unseemly.

Here's an idea. Have the cameras film you (also someone who put it up on utube) stealing the shark. Figure out something memorable to yell out.

Put up a web page with the shark as hostage. Those who want it destroyed can make commitments for charitable donations and Humberto has the option of matching those donations to get the shark back. He's a whore for the pub so he'd love it.

If it comes to destroying it, make a big deal out of it, maybe a steamroller or something like that.

You'd be known forever for something if you pulled this off.
