First, 24 VP$IP isn't tight at 9 handed tables.

To answer the subject, no, you can't get away here. He could have a smaller PP and figure you missed with an AQ AK KQ type of hand, he could have JT QJ KJ, he could have a flush draw, etc. I mean you're not always ahead here, could be sneaky with an overpair, or hit a set, but you have to call.
