While I [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Kanoute, I think it's not a terrible move for Sevilla to sell him anyway. His value is probably as high as it will be and he'll be 30 early next season. While that's not old, he probably has a year or two before his skills start to decline. Sevilla have right now a pretty good trio in Chevanton, Kerzhakov, and Luis Fabiano who is amazing on his day but needs to be more consistent. Selling Kanoute for 12 million euros or so and signing another striker for 5 or 6 would probably be good.

If this makes it at all more likely that Alves, Jesus Navas, and Antonio Puerta stay at the club another couple of years then I'm all for it.

Its euros not pounds which comes out to be like 16m pounds
