I would like to estimate approximately how much $ev I am on average giving away in the push/fold phase of an turbo sng. If I know the average number of push/fold situations (excluding the HU phase) I think it would be quite useful to use the quiz mode in sngwiz for this purpose. How much do you think is acceptable to give away on average?
My (wild) guess is about 30 situations, and that giving away less than 1% is good. What do you think? BTW I have suggested that sngwiz should make it possible to set up a quiz for a fixed number of questions. And give a report of your performance in the quiz. |

you can just quit the quiz and it will give you a report of your results

Isn't every hand of a sng a push/fold situation?

I was thinking of an more extensive report. Something like:
-Percent score -Total amount of $ev given away -Missed pushes -Missed calls -Missed pushes on the bubble -Wrong calls on the bubble -And similar |

I agree I'd like to see a breakdown of my mistakes on the quiz by situation (blind levels, push or call, stack size, etc..). I'm a little confused on what you're trying to accomplish, are you trying to answer like 30 questions and then get a total EV at the end, for example you got 25 right for + xEV and 5 wrong for - yEV? And simulate a tourney like that? I dunno I guess I'd just look over the ones I missed and see how much of an edge I gave away, and pay real close attention when I messed up in the big EV situations.
