I remember a few years ago when I stumbled upon 2p2 one of the first things I read was Irieguy in the STT forum saying "everyone will eventually run worse then they ever thought possible" or words to that effect. To this day no single words have been more memorable for me.

Your trip report reminds me of a cashless streak I had in those incredibly soft 225-1k sats last year, 15 in a row without cashing I think. Was just awful.

Anyway, hang in there man, just keep playing well and making good decisions and your huge edge will eventually get traction and off you'll go.

I hate to be negative, and don't get me wrong it's pretty brutal reading all this, but if going ootm for 10-15 tournaments in a row is 'running worse than you ever thought possible', that's not so bad. it's just massssssively amplified cause it's the wsop and the sample size is so small yet so much emphasis is put on it. regardless bond, I enjoy reading your reports but yeah, it would be nice if you'd win. so do that.

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow, good thing you pointed that out. I thought when I didn't cash four tournaments last night it was the worst run of all-time.

First off your trip reporst are sweet. I have no idea how your remeber all the little details of major hands, i just remember the results.

However, maybe you should put off these tournies and focus on the side games. They must be jumpin with all the gamblers in town. Reading your tourny summaries makes me wanna punch someone.

Also, are you planning on buyin for the ME?

Another great TR...it's probably just the famine before the feast.

Do these tourneys have way more people just trying to squeak into the money vs. playing for the FT/win (relative to online)? If so, how should one adjust? I know Bond knows some correct adjustments...just trying to help other than saying 'plz win kthx' or whatever.

Bond,

Well done once again. Just a nice coupling of dark humour, intelligence, and humility. Keep it up. And try to cash one of these times, will you?

Bond,

perhaps you will find yourself at a table with 4 or 5 hot women with silly suggestive names, a very tall guy with metal teeth, a midget in a top hat, and two scary guys petting cats. I'm sure you'll pwn them all.

another good report obv, i can only echo the comments of wishing you good luck and hoping you do well soon.

in the 88 hand if he really is 'good' then i check the flop cause his pf calling range should be pretty tight assuming you are just playing standard and are unknown to him. once you bet i don't hate the 2nd barrel but it really depends on his pf calling range.
