Pascal's Wager only functions in an absolute vacuum where you either believe in a Christian God or don't. He does not take into account the possible negative EV of believing in the WRONG god.

If we believe in a Christian God, but it actually turns out that it is the Muslim god that awaits us, then it is a possibility that it's slightly higher EV not to believe in any god instead of angering him by believing in the wrong god.

DUCY?

[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, but if don't need specifics, just to believe in a "neutral" god. i.e. a creator(s?) of the universe.

Again, I'm not saying I DO believe in any god, just I'm very tired.

One thing I forgot:

People who walk around with bibles trying to recruit me for their bible study or some [censored] piss me off.

Theres this girl always walking around asking people if they go to school, want to join the group or whatever.

Every time I tell her i'm not interested, and I think shes asked me 3 or 4 times now. WTF???????

For anyone who doubts the existence of god, here(NOT A RICKROLL) is an interesting mathematical proof of his existence.

Even tho I sometimes question religion I have been since I was a kid especially around 12 when I lost my best friend. If I had thought he was just gone and that was it and had not gone to heaven i woudlve been devestated. Instead I got thru it cause I knew he was happy and to this day I guess I still believe in it.

[/ QUOTE ]

My dog had to move to the country when I was a kid. I was sad, but I got through it knowing that my dog had lots of fun running on the fields playing with other dogs.
