with all due respect, we have a thousands, maybe millions of people that want to kill other people for what they believe,children are dissapearing everyday,were in a war that seems will never end, i think we all can agree that its only a matter of time before another 9-11, our borders are a joke, darfur, etc. etc.... and our #1 concern is wether some iceburgs are melting.( by the way, its june in new england and it was 34 degrees wed. night). my response wasnt meant to badger anyone, but maybe im just not PC enough, i dont .know

not bad.

you know, i guess in the broader scope of things my answer wouldn't apply to just automobiles.

i don't know that i would notice it immediately upon awakening, but the general breakdown of socialogical morality would rank pretty high on the list eventually. and that is coming from a generally non-religious kind of guy.

Anyone totally misread their hand once and a while?

This weekend I think I have Q8o in BB, I check preflop, then checkraise AQ8 flop, lead blank turn, and then lead/3bet a river 8. Then I proudly turn over my losing Q9. Wow, and the table thought I was aggressive before...

Please, the world is not so bad today. It used to be normal that whole villages were exterminated, plundered and burned. None of that happens much anymore, in most places.

70's- cambodia, approx. 2 million people exterminated
80's&90's-serbia, kosovo,northern iraq(kurdistan), hundreds of thousands of people exteminated
2000's-darfur, hundreds of thousands of people BEING exterminated.

its called genocide and it go on.........

I think that in the 70s, we also had about a half dozen wars/genocides occurring in Africa.

Another thing that I think might be thrown into the argument as dissapointing, is that in the 80s, the US had the best level of education as a country, and I think that now, we are about 20th.

i recently saw the list of top cities in the world to live in... Europe and Canada killed the whole list...there were no US cities in like the top 20 or 30...
