I think he will take the free card on the turn w/ a 4F, so I think u can fold to his bet. The CO open-limper protects you here.

I'm wondering what a guy with stats like that would limp in with on the button.

i limp after crappy players all the time on the button. J8-J10s, sometimes QJo (sometimes raise, always raise suited), 108-109s, J10o, sometimes weaker unsuited too

I agree. Also there aren't many worse made hands he's limping, maybe T8s.

I'll play quite a few hands here, and I'm 22/15/3.8 or so. T8o, T9o, JTo, J9o, 98s, 87s are all in my range. I raise a lot more than I limp though. :|

I think you can safely fold the turn when he doesn't check the turn. About all that you beat is T8o. Now if he's limping 77 here and raising you on this flop well, call down.

turn call + river fold doesn't make sense to me. you need to fold the turn IMO, his button overlimping range is too full of jacks to pay this off.

your call on the turn indicates that you think there is a decent chance that you're ahead because you don't have odds to hit a 5 outer. If you really think so, you should bet this river when it bricks (especially since you just might have a deuce), he's going to check behind with everything you beat here but may call. I still vote fold the turn and I don't think it's close.

OOP with a better and another caller, I usually either fold the turn bet or call down for 1 bet. I have to assume I'm drawing thin (maybe 4 outs) to a hand that may be drawing dead. If it were HU, where you could control the action, I would be more inclined to call down.

But what do I know. I'm trying to learn limit

Yeah, makes sense. My thinking on the turn call and river fold was that if he was maybe betting a FD again, he'd almost always check through with it on the river. I also have the chance to improve for the times he has me beat. However, I do agree that he'd rarely continue-bet that turn 3-handed with a draw.
