Here's 2 hands with AA that I was unsure about today. Thoughts appreciated.
HAND 1: Villain is 14/12/2 standard and solid, but not good TAG. Haven't seen him make any big plays. Mt image is pretty similar. Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) SB: $43.75 BB: $53.00 UTG: $53.15 MP: $54.95 CO: $54.70 <font color="black">Hero (BTN): $88.87</font> <font color="black">Preflop:</font> Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 Players) 3 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $2.00</font>, SB folds, <font color="red">BB raises to $7.00</font>, Hero calls $5.00 <font color="black">Flop:</font> ($14.25) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) BB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $10.00</font>, <font color="red">BB raises to $25.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises all-in to $81.87</font>, BB calls all-in for $21.00. HAND 2: BB is 22/14/5 over 100 hands. Seems quite good postflop, has won some nice pots by being aggressive with some good hands. UTG is 34/10/0.5. He is a table coach and very loose-passive, I have seen him stack off his 2 pair to an obvious flush. Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 4 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) <font color="black">Hero (SB): $50.05</font> BB: $89.50 UTG: $40.29 BTN: $82.44 <font color="black">Preflop:</font> Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 Players) UTG calls $0.50, BTN calls $0.50, <font color="red">Hero raises to $3.50</font>, BB calls $3.00, UTG calls $3.00, BTN folds <font color="black">Flop:</font> ($11) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $7.50</font>, <font color="red">BB raises to $21.00</font>, UTG calls $21.00, Hero folds |

1. He almost always has either AK or AA, way more combinations of AK, so i like.
2. UTG's actions scream set. Limp-call from UTG, cold call on the flop. IMO this a set like 90 % of the time. Sometimes i talk myself into that BB is raising with a lower overpair and UTG is calling with draw and then push. However, i always regret this afterwards, because it's almost always a set. lol |

I_HATE_TIHSKID; those are exactly my thoughts for both hands.
Having thought some more about it I am happy with both these hands, I was just annoyed as they both happened within 5 minutes of each other and I was wrong for both. In hand 1 villain had KK. In hand 2 BB had QQ and UTG had J8s for the flush draw and they got it all in on the turn. |

I like hand 1.
In hand 2 BB is almost never raising with a lower overpair, this is almost always a set/drawing hand (if he's confident enough in his postflop game to call your pfr), and UTG can have anything. Fold is fine. |
