I'm running sick hot right now.

The secret to running hot:

1) Flop sets
2) Have morons call down 3 streets with top pair (drawing dead by the turn)
3) ????????
4) Profit

I am allowed to play as small as .05/.10 limit (those players can't be good at all), but will need a winrate over 5BB/100 over 50k hands (I'll probably play a lot of 2-6 handed typically tring to play 3-4 handed as I think thats where I'm best

[/ QUOTE ]

Damn...I guess I am way wrong then because my friend told me that 5BB/100 is impossible and I told him I could do it at micros, but would need a huge incentive. Good thing we didn't come to terms last night as it looks like I won't be trying this.

I would take the other side of this bet.

I normally 3-bet preflop, but this guy was like a 6/4 UBER-NIT, so I called for set value:

QFT

[/ QUOTE ]

<<---- Very jealous.

I have a real job and it sucks. I've made @50k so far this year playing fairly regularly part time.(20-25hrs a week) If I knew I could do that consistently I would sell my business and play Full Time. Problem is a lot of that is from donkaments and the variance in MTT's is a bitch.

Plus I have a wife who doesn't work and 2 kids etc. and couldn't withstand any kind of extended down swing.

like duh, obviously

I have no idea why this started becoming popular fwiw. I had to ask the same question a few weeks back too when I started seeing it used in every thread.

[/ QUOTE ]

There was a huge thing in OOT, where Daryn said he hated QFT (quoted for truth) and would ban anyone who used it. I think MT2R QFT'd his original post and got banned for a bit.

Anyways, i think LDO developed to circumvent daryn's ban's. Once the banning stopped, it just stuck, ldo...

[/ QUOTE ]

was that person MT2R ?
I remember that awesome reply and couldn't stop laughing.
I don't like OOT much really, also for things like that.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think so... I remember there being a big stink b/c he was a good, contributing, strat poster.

[/ QUOTE ]

yep...I got banned

Daryn started an OOT thread "I hate QFT"
I kind of like it.
So, without even reading what he wrote, I clicked quote and put qft in a reply within a minute of it being put up.

I then read his original post, which anticipated the juvenile joke and promised a banning to anyone who did it.

I was banned within a minute.

I, then, further increased my ban by hitting the thread up with another post by a gimmick that was essentially a QFT.

I have enough gimmicks where banning me isn't a big deal as I can still read strat and whatnot.

Humbly enough, at least 30 posters and a handful of mods immediately fought for my un-banning. It was very nice.

Almost went on severe monkey tilt earlier today thankfully dinner was ready and I stopped playing.

These are all 25NL.

Hand 1: I get JTo in the BB. Retardo-monkey in EP limps, folds to me. Flop is JT3. I bet, he minraises, I pot, he minraises again, I shove. He has KJ. Turn Q, River 9. MHING.

Hand 2: Two hands later, same table. I have 55 in LP. There a couple limpers, super tight spazzoid nit raises to like 1.5, I call, oouple other callers. Flop is T53 with a club draw. Checks to Captain Nit and he bets like half pot, I shove trying to rep tilt as I had been going off in the chatbox. He runs his timebank down and calls. Turn A, River something. He has AA. MHING.

Hand 3: About 10 minutes later at a different table. I get AA in LP. Couple limpers, I make a standard open, two callers. Flop is 942 with a flush draw (I don't have the A of suit). Folds to me, I pot, both call. Turn is a 5. Checks to me, I shove. First guy tanks forever and calls. Other guy insta-calls. River J. Tanker has JJ and MHING. Other guy had 8s7s.

Dinner was tasty though. I love hamburgers!
