Multiple Accounts from the same ip on Stars/FT

Hi I was just wondering what kind of policy or if its even allowed on most sites to have 2 different accounts from the same IP playing at the same time and/or on the same table. If a friend wanted to bring his laptop over and play online at the same time as me on Full Tilt, would that be reasonable?
