KDAWG, interesting stuff.

Apparently the Henry for Eto'o rumor is picking up some serious steam. Especially with Barca throwing in 17mil.

Arsenal getting another African would be troublesome though with the African Cup coming up.

These young players are also in good hands (Sir Alex). There is no better man to mold these players into stars.

I don't know how Manchester United kept quiet about Anderson Abreu. It still hasn't sunk in yet . . .

www.arsenal-mania.com

They have a nice front page with just news. The message board is a tad odd. Anyone can sign up, but at first you are only allowed to post in the lobby. You have to be promoted to be able to post elsewhere, but you can read anything. Nice little system they have, but the rules are somewhat strict

Reo, I will agree with you on SAF. Him and Wenger both do a great job of developing young players into legit world class talent.

[/ QUOTE ]I heard a rumor that ManU came in and offered whatever the buyout amount was, thus automatically triggering the transfer. Not sure how that works.

actually, these purchases are very consistent with what we've done in the past. If we were chelsea, we'd be buying just past their sell on date players at exorbinent prices

[/ QUOTE ]

You mean like Frank Lampard, Joe Cole, Essien, Drogba, Robben,Diara,Cech, Mikel, Sinclair etc etc.

The exception Ballack and Sheva are not the rule.

i think ballack and sheva are the examples since they were their main signings last year, were beyond expensive and didnt play well.

I don't see how two signings somehow qualify them as solely buying over priced aging talent.
