Carlson,
As we discussed in another post LHE games between 4/8 and 8/16 are hard to find in Vegas. If you want to move up you may find 6/12 at MGM, Caesars or Mirage but will most likely have to jump up to 8/16 at Wynn, Venetian and Bellagio. I think you will be fine in these 8/16 games and wouldn't let this one bad night you had at Wynn make you not try it again next time.

I used to beat 5/10 and 8/16 at Paradise Poker but now on UB I find it hard beating 1/2 and 2/4 LHE. These games are so tight/aggressive as to be absolute rock gardens so much so that I have switched to 25 and 50NL for online cash games.

I think when we say tough online it means pretty much what Porkchop stated. Also, there are less players online now and the ones that are still playing have gained more experience since they are probably not new players but ones that have been hanging around for a while. Tight agg games abound now. Still beatable but harder for sure and more of a grind.

If "Live at the Bike" is still running, you can watch their 8/16 game ot get an idea of how people are playing. It shows hole cards.
