You need a much bigger bankroll for tourney play. Play tournaments for a living, to me isn't fascinating at all, it's sick. I'd hate to play for 3 days to earn $0. You see on tv that a player just won $1,000,000, however how many millions did they spend to get there? That part you never know.

Doesn't PA play the 4K-8K too regularly? He made the final table of the horse tourney this year in the WSOP I asume the guy can play all mixed games. To think that ABA is near PA is a little to far. I think PA is a lock for this category and is competing with DB for most under 40.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm not sure why everyone thinks DB is so rich. The guy has serious game selection problems and leaks in most of his games. I would guess he has come fairly close to busto in the recent past. And I'm not sure he's even a winner online for the last year or so.

(He's had big NL losses reported here and in my DB he's down over 1M in O8, plus he doesn't seem to do well in HORSE contrary to what everyone assumes.)

For aged 30-40 winnings from poker, excluding tourneys, I would think Ivey for sure.

Actually I guess DB might be up there too, but only because there really aren't that many good candidates in the 30-40 range (again excluding tourneys).

I would have thought he did really well in Horse as well online. Do you or anyone have any stats?

But he is certainly doing extremely well in plo where highstakes.db have him up 3.7 million this year and maybe Taobot can post his results from last year or up until now?

In the big game there have been stories about him having massive wins as well as big losses, so who knows.

how much did TLK make when he was unbeatable?

[/ QUOTE ]

About a little over 2 Million

[/ QUOTE ]

P.S. we haven't seen much of TLK lately because he's went into business with a majority of his time.

For instance, at like 21 yrs old or whatever he already is the owner of a bowling alley, and recently purchased 1.1M euros worth of land to put a hotel on.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think this is very interesting. Is the time over already where TLK considered poker his prior source of income? Is learning to play NL now just "fun" for him because he likes poker?

Who are you? You have a tendency to post juicy insider info and it all seems credible, but how do you know all this?

I'm not sure what the American tax rate is (~40% at the highest bracket?) but since Antonius' winnings are untaxed, that's gotta push him to the top of the list if he wasn't there already before taxes.

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree, taxes put P.A. at the top if he wasn't already there to begin with.
