I have been playing villain for a couple of hours and we 3 tabled a few days earlier so we have a good feel for each other's game. He's pretty aggro, check raises a lot of flops, doesn't float a ton. He raises the btn about 60% of the time but he rarely 3bets but over the last 20 minutes or so he's probably 3bet more than he did in the entire match leading up to this point. The times he has 3bet I have folded mostly and I think this is only the 3rd time we've seen a flop on his 3bet, I took it down once and he's taken 1 down.
When I raised I was expecting him to fold or shove, the call threw me off. Should I just stick it in on the turn? Looks like you are behind, or he has 9s or 10s.

i think this boils down to whether or not you think he'll fold QQ and KK here. I think he will so I'd shove.

I'm confused, what do you just call a 270 raise from on the flop? If he is going to call that much, shouldn't he just push? What are the stack sizes? Was he slow playing a set-aces?

It doesn't look like from the action that he has aces(at least I wouldn't play them like that) so I doubt he has an ace. I don't know if I would try and push him off his hand though when the ace came out. He cold called a 270 raise-looks strong and like he isn't folding. I'm not sure about this hand though, his flop play has confused me a little. Is he a donkey?

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that he caught a set.

This guy definitely isn't a donk, he's one of the best players I've played.

I mean if he had qq, kk, aa, it really seems like he would push the flop after your raise and not just cold call for like a half of a buyin. What are the stack sizes. I'm asking a lot of questions, but this hand interests me. Good post.

i don't really understand the reasoning behind your flop raise. were you planning on calling a push? getting in 150 BBs here seems kinda bad to me, but then again so does raise/folding.

I'm not calling and letting an AKQ come off for free.
