Jake,

I call bs on this entire thread.

[/ QUOTE ]

So do I.

You seem like a decent guy Jake, but you're obviously a beginner. Less than a month ago, you were asking what a c-bet was.

Why do people think this is bs ??? I mean, what is the point of making a BS post ? There is nothing to prove here and I wonder what would be the interest of making a fake post...

The best thing I can suggest is you take a 2-3 weeks break and then come back. I did it once and it helped a lot... it gives a lot more objectivity. When you comme back... start progressively from 3$-6$ to 5$-10$ and then 10$-20$. If you are not a constant winner on a certain level then don't move up.

good luck!

its possible, new players often do things pro's wont do. If they are running hot they can make insane amounts of money, but if the running hot is over, then they lose it all again. I knew some guy who deposited 10K and made it like 38k withing a couple weeks at 1k NL. He never played for poker seriously, he went broke within 2 weeks

You should probably really invest in an online poker training site. I recommend CardRunners, but there's other good ones as well.

When I first started playing at Full Tilt four months ago I was playing .10/25 NL. A few things clicked and I turned my initial $500 deposit into $80,000.

Do I have to use Poker Tracker?
You don't have to do anything. I recommend buying a $1000 XP machine for poker so you can use PT AND PokerAce HUD and join the army of grinders.
