He is very agressive and has running over me.. Is this a good line in a situation like this? Villians Wtsd% is 29 over 122 hands.
Limit: $1/$2 4 players Converter Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is SB with K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 folds, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, Hero calls. Flop: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4SB, 2 players) Hero checks, BB bets, Hero calls. Turn: 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3BB, 2 players) Hero checks, BB bets, Hero raises, BB folds. Uncalled bets: 1BB returned to Hero. Results: Final pot: 5BB |

I wouldn't take your line every time (there are other reasonable options), but it is a valid one.
FWIW, I would probably open-complete the K7s versus someone who had been running me over recently. This allows Villain to raise any two and then sometimes steal the pot from me later, I'll admit, but at least the pot he's stealing won't be all that big, and it gives me some potential to trap, and I also don't have to worry about what the hell his 3-bet does or does not mean when it comes (you won't always flop as nicely as you did in this hand, and getting pushed off the best unpaired hand after investing 1.5 BB preflop is worse than getting pushed off of the best unpaired hand after investing 1 BB). |

I like it. Especially since it makes it harder for him to run you over in the future

Is this a bluff line? [/ QUOTE ] I don't think i would have done it as i pure bluff cause he is not folding many better hands. Probably just Ace high. But im intrested to know about CR bluffs on the turn in general and when to attemp them. |

Is he like a TAG or like a 40/20 type? I agree with Nick - this is an good thing to do from time-to-time, only this board isn't especially great for it as he'll usually be calling the turn raise. Depends a bit on the specific of your previous encounters, as well.

I would imagine your line to be highly successful vs hands like K8-KQ and maybe even A8-AK. Not many other hands that beat you are likely to be folding but you wont have the pot stolen from you on the river by something like JQ.
edit: by highly successful i mean they will just fold the turn |
