Justin has never put multiple accounts in a STT. I really don't even think it makes much sense to do that...

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm not following your logic. Please explain why it doesnt make sence (from an ev standpoint) to be playing 2 seats at the same STT

I'm waiting for people that live together to get owned. then I am going to get really pissed off.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, how do they prevent two honest roommates from getting screwed?

[/ QUOTE ]

The satisfaction of the millions who DONT play on a router with a roomate is FAR more important than the few who do,...

Call me cynical, but I dont want to be playing against ANY 2 or more people who are on the same IP together.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is a little unreasonable don't you think? I live with 3 other guys, 2 of which play online MTTs quite regularly (as do I).

I'll go days w/o even speaking to these roommates. Just because we live under the same roof doesn't mean we're close friends looking to collude in an MTT.

Sometimes in an MTT, I'll have one of my roommates message me an hour into the tournament saying "hey I just saw the tournament lobby and realized we're both in [x] MTT, good luck". Should we have our accounts locked and funds seized for this? C'mon man...

Ok, I guess I don't know cheats too well. So he only does it in a MTT. Ok that makes it a little bit better.

Right !!!

Look, I am not talking about some whoever this guys is . I couldn't care less. I am talking about cheats in general. People who cheat other people in online poker.

They are not poker players . They are CHEATS !

Eh, if I am 3 of the 10 people in a 200 STT, then I have a friggin good chance too of increasing my expectation.

A year or two ago, granny made some comment about entering a tournament with two accounts aimed at ZJ and he said something along the lines of "I only did that once." I don't remember the full context of the thread, maybe someone with ambition will track it down.

This explains why ZeeJustin has been pushing all week for the STT forum to be split. One forum for real poker players and one for cheaters. Makes sense to me!

something that just came up in my mind:

If people like ZJ and JJ all ready had multiple accounts, what good is banning them? Won't they just make another fake account and continue?

btw having 2 letter names is obv signs of cheatage

[/ QUOTE ]it will make it harder.
they will need to setup new neteller, new ip, new name etc

[/ QUOTE ]

Most IP's are Dynamic so that's not a problem. Find a friend that has no relation to you, have them create an account for you..ship'em $100 to make'em happy. They'll do all the favors ( deposit/withdrawl) etc. It's really not a difficult task.

[/ QUOTE ]he now wont be able to play any satellites because his new names wont be under justin bonomo therefore any satellite win wont be for him

I've never really thought the whole thing through because I wouldn't consider doing it, but it would seem like the payout structure would make multiple accounts fairly useless in comparison to their benefit in a MTT. There's only such much space to fit the accounts into the money and a limited reward. I don't really know for sure, but at first glance it doesn't seem like a high reward situation. Multiple accounts at a cash game table seems like a much better idea if your goal is to cheat.

It's too much of an "honor system"... we all know that "honor system" and "money" have no place in the same sentence.

[pull out of ass statistic]
Sure, maybe you dont collude, but for every one of you there are likely 10 who do. [/pull out of ass statistic]
