I may return, but I'm actually quite happy with life since I've quit.. it was fun coming home from work and losing a week's paycheck in 30 minutes. That's when I knew I shouldn't play anymore.

I wish you all the best. Maybe some day you'll find the idea appealing to play a little just for fun at stakes that don't stress you out. I'm looking forward to it. In my own experience, one never really quits playing poker. And I tried to quit a few times myself. It's just that this game gets the best of oneself so damn fast.

when will there be a final release of this software? I'd look in the software forums myself but I forgot the name of the tool so I don't know what I'd have to look for.

Phil is still beta testing now, but I think he's getting ready to release it any day now.

Ugh my May started off terribly. Last night I was at 10nl on Stars HU with some 65/12/4 idiot. The following hand goes down to end my session; effective stacks of $35 to start.

Hero has AJ, raises to .4
Villain calls
Flop: JJ6
Hero bets pot, villain raises to 6, Hero calls.
Turn: brick
Hero checks, villain bets 12, Hero shoves, villain snap calls.
River: brick

Villain shows J6o, hero cries.

So let me get this straight...you put villains on ranges, and then bet/raise/fold/check/whatever accordingly?

Ok, sounds easy enough...so, ranges, ranges, hmmmmmm....

If you 3bet PF and then check the flop you have given up on the hand already so it doesn't matter much what he had.

I've been thinking about when (and how much) to cash out some spending money from my bankroll but I haven't come up with a decent solution... until now! I just had this brilliant idea that I'll withdraw my rakeback and only my rakeback once a month! This way I get the motivation to get more hands in, and it makes me less result-oriented as the rake is the same whether I lose a pot or win it.
