ugh with the injuries, i guess it's not surprising with alou...hopefully they can hang in there, but at this point, i'm just hoping they keep up with the braves, forget running away...
just wondering, pelfrey prolly won't go anywhere as long as duque is on the DL, but if he continues to get whacked, who takes his spot?? |

Sosa will probably take Park's spot.

alou going on the DL would be a disaster of the highest order if it coincides with lastings being on the DL. Endy is not an everday player. He's shown flashes of brilliance and a great glove, but with Easley at 2nd and Shawn Green just waiting to regress to what he'll really be this summer, it takes real pop out of our lineup and our bench for late innings.

I'd rather see Ricky HENDERSON before LEDEE.

can wright possibly be moved to the 2 spot soon, please?
alou being hurt would be a reason to not do this, since they wouldn't have him to hit 5, but loduca has been terrible, while wrights OBP has still been decent. |

This organization is just unfair sometimes. Two guys with ML experience one with an ERA of 7 in AAA, one with an ERA under 2. Basically one guy did as well you possibly could and one did as poor as you could. Neither is a minor league prospect of any kind, so neither needs to be protected by not being brought up too soon. They are simply battling to possibly get a shot to help the big club. Sosa won the battle, plain and simple. If I'm Jorge Sosa I have to be wondering why I'm even bothering to try at this point, so ridiculous. Park starting over Sosa was just disgraceful.

Park started over Sosa because Sosa had pitched on Sunday. I guess they could have held him out of his start on Sunday, but I can't find fault with keeping Sosa on track the way he's pitching in AAA. And let's not forget that Sosa had a very bad year last year. There's nothing wrong with being more careful with him in the hope you can recapture 2005, instead of bouncing him up and down as you can do with Park, who the team probably cares less about.
