This is absolutely standard. I don't understand why OP is so upset. Just send in the info. Clearly he's doing something shady here and got caught with his pants down. Otherwise this wouldn't be much of an issue.

Default Not a \"how-to\" thread, sorry.

"So why exactly then is a security check required to send a bank draft to the same name and address as is on the credit card"

Never have seen a credit card with a name and address on it.

"I'm dying for an explanation on this"

Sorry to hear that. FWIW, the potential for fraud is certainly there, but this is not a "how-to" thread.

I'll tell you now, this site is [censored] terrible. I deposited a small amount at Absolute Poker, around $500, played for a couple of weeks and didn't like it, and i finished up on about $510. So i decided to withdraw it all. I withdrew my money but they needed identification documents, so i sent them.

Long story cut short, everytime i sent them the documents they keep saying they havn't received them. At first i though it was my email provider, but i sent them the documents through another email address i have, and they still said they havn't received them. But the point is they must have because i also sent them to my mate and he received them within seconds.

So then i decided to upload the documents to a web server i have and copy and paste the links to them. All went well, and they sent a reply saying the images looked pretty clear, but i still needed to send them the agreement form. Well, that's just utter [censored] as i sent the link to the agreement form in the email.

Absolute poker is a [censored] joke. I still havn't got my money through, and doubt i ever will. Does anyone have ANY sugesstions what so ever??

Thanks.

"also, it's hysterical that people trust a poker site with all of their personal and financial information and link bank accounts/credit cards to it, but then always balk when it comes to their SSN or (omg no) their credit card that they already gave the site once in the first place."

Not to mention the entire contents of their Hard Drives which all of these sites already have total access to with their spyware (supposedly built in to detect cheaters).

OP has a valid point about ease with which you can deposit vs. hassle to make a withdrawal.

"Send the documents and get your money, or don't send the documents and STFU."

You are an annoying little punk who needs to STFU himself. Every post I see you make on here is a flame of one sort or another. Grow up and get a life that doesn't revolve around puffing up your piss poor self esteem by trying to beat down others.

I have played at Absolute since January 2004 and I have NEVER had a problem getting my money from them. AP has done nothing but good things for me.
