Dallas need to play Diop so that GS thinks twice about driving the lane. Diop is an atheletic mofo on the defensive end and they need his presence. Its pretty ovious, but Dallas needs to run their offense through Dirk on the left block. He can dish or attack the basket. Dampier is fairly useless for this series, as he was last year against Phoenix, however if he plays he needs to post up constantly. GS has no low presence and him and Dirk should be getting easy looks.

I'm a game late on the picks, but:

Pistons in 4, Bulls in 7, Raptors in 6, Cavs in 4

Mavs in 6, Spurs in 6, Rockets in 5, Suns in 5.

Game 1 results influenced me a bit more in the West than the East, at least as far as how many games series will go.

Round 2: Pistons over Bulls in 7, Raptors over Cavs in 6, Mavs over Rockets in 5, Suns over Spurs in 6.

Conference Finals: Pistons over Raptors in 5, Suns over Mavs in 7

Finals: I can't pick against my team, Pistons in 6.
///

I'm definitely rooting for the Nuggets and Warriors, both because they're underdogs and because a little upheaval in the West can only help the Pistons' chances.

If the Heat can get past Chi then the go to the Finals

I actually agree with this. Detroit has the most complete team but Flip sucks and he will get outcoached again if he goes against Riley. So if Wade is healthy enough to get past the Bulls I think they get all the way back to get raped in the finals. Basically the east sucks.

Whoever wins the Bulls-Heat series has a very good chance of beating the Pistons, mainly because they will have the better coach. Agree that the Pistons are the best team in the East, but the way the last few games of the Heat series went last year has me very nervous about how much coaching matters in a close 7-game series.

Close... 6.

Lead the leagues in turnovers this year but it's nothing to worry about. His turnover rate is nothing that Shaq, Dr. J, and Moses Malone haven't done at his age.

once every 10 possessions when he actually gets to touch the ball, it's pissing me off and I have 0 rooting interest in the game.
