Right, but a lot of guys (especially guys who post on 2+2) are Newbs at girls. They make newbie mistakes and likely have not talked to a lot of girls. So I would strongly not recomend swinging for the fences in your first at bat.

I would try to make every situation the best. I have made a ton of mistakes with girls I am sure most of us have. But had I made a money bet on nailing a girl. You better believe I won't go throw the hail mary in the first quarter. I would try some simply flirting and then go for the end zone.

I was just kind of nudging the fact that if you just try talking to more girls on AIM. You don't have to respond instantly on aim, and it is more like a conversation, so you still have the slower pace, but it is more like a play by play phone/real life convo.

He hasn't talked to her in a 18 months. I think a pimp Myspace page catered to her seeing it. And a witty message will go farther than a opening AIM from someone you have not talked to in a while no?

i honestly think it depends on what the girl thinks about/views the OP as. If he is a "i guess i know this kid, weird" type of thing" then the whole myspace thing might just be weird. Some random guy that hasen't talked to you in like 2 years spamming flirty messages on myspace? Just dosen't sound right to me.

However, maybe starting off with a message in myspace, then after she responds, ask for her aim/msn/ect and go from there. After about 1 min on aim, you can tell if she wants nothing to do with you, which could save you a lot of time.

Obviously the first contact wont be flirty. Its a whats up. I just think myspace is easier for inital contact.

in a really good mood for some reason right now, so I'm going to try to tell you what my gameplan would be.

Contact her using myspace. Since you haven't talked to her in six months, either msg or comment ( i dunno what you myspace people would do ) and just say something like "hey whats up haven't talked to you in a while, whats new with you?"

She'll probably respond by a simple answer, and ask you what you have been up to. When you respond to this, tell her that you are almost done with college, and will be home in a bit. Then suggeust "MAYBE" hanging out when you get back and ask for her aim/msn.
