i was playing him hu for a while at 5-10 and he was definitely tough to deal with bc of his crazy agg. style

i think if he could tone it down a little and control the tilt he could be a real menace at the tables. i just dont think open shoving for $900 on the button with AJo into my kings in the sb just because you lost a big pot the hand before is gonna be a winning play in the longrun.
didn't he used to play the biggest games on stars back when they were 10-20 or maybe more recently? always thought he was a winner there

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, he used to play 10/20 and 25/50 last year. And he tilts like no other.

sounds like my kind of guy

you bring up a good point: it is my belief that everyone is playing over their roll right now. i mean esriously, how can anyone be properly rolled for 5/10 after taxes?

[/ QUOTE ]

i put aside money for taxes (always a rough estimate of what i'll owe in addition to my previous quarterly payments) and don't count it as my bankroll, and i also only play stakes i'm overrolled for. is that a good enough answer?

[/ QUOTE ]

Is "quarterly payments" the recommended play when it comes to paying taxes from poker? also, are there any forums specific to taxes?

2-4 and 3-6 no limit is a joke. So passive compared to 5/10. I think im going to move down just so i never have to lose.

Yeah. 2/4+ 6max on FTP is pretty tough this year. Only the very top players make ~5ptbb anymore. After playing in those games much of this year, I'm not at all surprised by those numbers. There are a definitely few players on ftp who could probably make >5ptbb at 2/4, but they mostly play higher and haven't put enough hands in at 2/4 to show up on this list.

I've been trying to branch out to other games (plo, hu) that aren't filled with 5 regs at every table.
