[ QUOTE ]
this isn't really relevant as i'm pretty sure everyone thinks this movie kicks ass, but i had nowhere else to post it: i watched to live and die in la last night for the first time in years and it rules. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah this movie is awesome. I've got two that I can think of: BaseKetball and The Good Shepherd. BaseKetball is easily in my top 7 favorite comedies and is ridiculously quotable. The Good Shepherd got crappy reviews and gets huge amounts of hate, but I find it to be well made, well acted and exquisitely tragic. It is on par with The Remains of the Day in my opinion, which is also about a great personal tragedy occurring side by side with a great historical one. |
