Well the poll seems to say otherwise. And if it shrivels up and dies, what's the harm? It's not like you have to sacrifice a baby to make a new forum. [/ QUOTE ] you clearly don't know how things work around here. c |

[ QUOTE ]
As Gigabet said in "Almost there with success and failure." He does not normally respond to posts b/c it can't be good for his long term financial situation. It makes sense that many high stakes players don't post that much for this same reason. Not because they don't have their own forum. [/ QUOTE ] no, it was stupid when gigabet posted it and it's stupid when you repeat it. it's not a reason to not post. a reason to not post, and one that most high stakes players use, is that the games are very easy, and thus, very boring, once you have played enough and are quite good. c |

What I do remember, from either that or some other post, is him talking about how it's in his best interest to keep the game growing and dynamic. IE - new players coming up all the time. |

I think $100 is a reasonable cutoff, but $200 is probably better. I don't think its ridiculous though. |

suzzer,
Gig has certainly said something about posting not being good for his winrate....but it may have been the chunking theory thread (I'm never gonna call it block theory since I recognized he had such a theory before he ever talked about it and I called it chunking theory...and i'm the champ so you all suck anyway).....he's basically also said the game needs to grow and be dynamic to keep it robust and interest ($$) flowing. I'd imagine most of the high stakes players all have the same thinking about the game. Doyle in fact has likely flip flopped about writing his first book a bajillion times. On the one hand he couldn't kill his opponents as much anymore but on the other, he is like ubershipitholla celebrity the past few years and can probably bang 20 year old scrippaz whenever he wants.
