[ QUOTE ]
It's good to read, but anyone saying it's crucial is retarded. It's like 300 pages and he repeats the same thing every 50 pages or so. I was really disappointed. He states one major claim and then repeats the same idea over and over again, I felt kind of ripped off after reading the whole thing. I've heard tipping point is no different. [/ QUOTE ] I thought the same thing. Some of the tipping point is also complete bs, like the falling crime rates in NY being due to stopping graffiti. I have more trust in the authors of Freakenomics who argued much more convincingly that it was access to legal abortion. |

[ QUOTE ]
so it's better than the 3.5 out of 5 stars after 700 reviews it got on amazon? [/ QUOTE ] If I had to rate it I would give it something between 3 and 4 stars leaning towards 3, so 3.5 seems like a reasonable rating. It was a fun (and fast) read, as opposed to an instructional read. |
