What happens during Moneybookers credit card verification when they ask you to enter the $1 Euro to $2.99 Euro withdraw from your credit card? What if the amount that shows up on your credit card is only in Canadian dollars? What if you enter the amount wrong because of the exchange rate? [/ QUOTE ]I wrote down the exchange rate the day I did it. Then when it showed up on my online balance, I used the rate to guess. I got it wrong the 1st try and got it right the second by adding 1 cent. |

I made my first wire transfer today from TD bank. Anyone do one and know how long it takes to hit MB?
Also, I have not been asked to send any copy of ID yet....do they always ask for this at some point? |

I have tried to find this throughout the thread but is there any way of transfering money directly from my Canadian bank account to a third party then into Full Tilt. All of the Full Tilt options seem to rely on a credit card. Thanks.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Mine's 12K...haven't done the bank transfer yet for the last increase. I'm confused about being stuck with MB...most sites allow you to have more than one method, as long as you've deposited with any other methods you want to use. When NT was still alive, I had both MB & NT available to me at a few sites. Same with C2P. Also, don't forget those limits are only from money leaving your MB account...IE cashouts from a site to MB won't go against your limit. [/ QUOTE ] I live chatted with the merchant I use. Only one method for deposit and withdrawal. If I want to change methods I have to have zero in my balance. Better check with your merchant everyone. [/ QUOTE ] Some of the Cryptos are like this, although I have never heard of them requiring a zero balance to change methods...that seems pretty ridiculous. Is it a sportsbook? Edit to add: Regardless, checking with the site is good advice. [/ QUOTE ] I know that at least some of the Cryptos (Inter is one) allow a person to close an account and open a new one. They also might allow multiple accounts. If you are having too many problems converting your existing account, it may just be easier to open a new one. |

ok, so here's a question. I need to withdraw like 15k-25k from a Prima skin. I have never used my c2p acct at all, so I am a little worried about moving a large sum on my first transaction. Which would be better? 1. Get the poker site to cut me a check and deposit it into my bank acct (scotiabank) 2. Put the money into my click2pay acct and then get them to cut me a check 3. Put the money into click2pay and then get them to wire transfer me the money. This might cost like $100, but I figure since it's a large sum of $ that's a fairly small % 4. Something I haven't thought of. My primary concern is getting my money. I don't mind if I have to wait a while to have it hit my bank acct. I also don't mind if the fee is like $100 or something, if that will get me my money either more safely or much more quickly. Thanks for your help. edit: I also just saw that the Prima skin I use has "Swift/Direct Bank Transfer" as a withdrawal option as well. I am guessing this is a bank wire option, because the info they ask for looks like the info you need when you try to wire $$ to your c2p acct, so consider this option as well. [/ QUOTE ] Hey jaxup, I also play on Prima and am moving amounts similar to you (I think we play on the same tables sometimes). Due to service charges, direct bank transfer from the site and click2pay seemed like the only viable options for the amount of cash I'm moving. I did a test transfer to click2pay of $30 and it worked fine, so I decided to do the real thing. I just received my 15k withdrawal to my click2pay account. Although they do not charge exchange rate fees, be aware that the rate is calculated on the day it is received rather than the day you cash out, which was 3 business days later in my case. Because the US dollar is rapidly plummeting right now I was somewhat disappointed but...at least no 1.9% right? I plan to withdraw from click2pay by cheque and I'll let you know how it goes. I use a small credit union so I was unsure about setting up a direct bank transfer with Prima, however I'm going to try a direct transfer as it would be a lot quicker than all this e-wallet cheque nonsense. Do you know if there are any fees/exchange rate gouging with direct deposit from Prima? |

in your summary for MB you mentioned this: [ QUOTE ] your bank must have its OWN SWIFT code. If your Bank/Credit Union uses a "correspondent bank", this will NOT work. [/ QUOTE ] can you elaborate a bit? my main bank is PC Financial, and they are a sub-bank of CIBC. i emailed PC and they told me the SWIFT code, which was the same as CIBC. [/ QUOTE ] Has anyone managed to do a wire transfer withdrawal to PC Financial using Moneybookers? I just want to know if it's possible or not. |
