If you're near Pitt, you can go to WVU. Serious party school there.

Just graduated In December from Clarkson University in New York
Pro: if you like engineering or business its a good place to be. Nice surrounding colleges with hot girls. Con: Its cold as [censored]. And the guy to girl ratio is like 3 to 1 I enjoyed it though, it has good name value with a lot of companys around North East area of US |

Those party school rankings are b.s. Last year Univ. of Maryland was number 6. I went to Maryland and the only partying we all got to do that wasn't in bars and shut down by cops was rioting. It deserved to be nowhere near the top 20.
OP - you live in a good area of Jersey near New York. Any school in the area will keep you close enough to the city that you won't have to worry about finding good night life. |

PS this is serious business so if your answer is going to be "funny" double check and make sure it's funny. [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I dropped out of Pitt after one semester of drunken debauchery [/ QUOTE ] Maybe not so serious, eh? There's often a strong case to be made for simply going to work instead of getting some semi-useless credential for dozens of thousands of dollars. We already know you know how to drink. Edit: Didn't see this: [ QUOTE ] is that a school for racing cars? because I'm interested in philosophy [/ QUOTE ] The market for philosophers is kinda tight right now. Look into a paying career. |

Dude,
Goto a college with an atmosphere that you enjoy. I didn't realize this until I got to college, but I would have much preferred to be somewhere with warm weather, or at least in a NY type city. I goto CMU in Pittsburgh, so please relate to the suckiness of this city. It was 70 degrees yesterday, now it is below 32, and snowing. Goto some school in Cali, or NYU. |
