Obv. But getting people to donate for the right reason is not as important as getting people to donate, really. In other words, if there was actually a certainty of a freeroll or better yet a freeroll if XXX$ are donated, telling people would make people donate more and accordingly would be the best thing to do IMO.

In other words, between raising 5k for charity from the goodness of people's hearts versus raising 50k from the goodness of people's hearts and a bit of greed on their part, I would pick the latter.
