Default Why Do You Play Micro Limits?

The advice I see here in the uNL forum seems to be great. I'm learning how to put people on hands and getting lots of good pointers from the posts here. You guys for most part seem extremely knowledgeable. This leaves me to wonder, with all your knowledge and experience, why would you guys bother grinding for pennies instead of playing for real $$$$$$? Do you all have specific reasons?

Maybe I'm just naive.

Bankroll management is the primary reason people play here. Also the play really does get more complicated at higher limits.

Skill and bankroll. I played NL10 until I felt I was cruching it and had the bankroll for NL25. Now I am taking shots at NL25 and drop down whenever I feel I am not playing well or just get a bite from mother variance.

Bankroll and skill requirements. As you move up, the game changes a LOT, and it takes some getting used to.

Well there are hurdless .... the biggest one of these being handreading and combating aggression, especially the latter.

And on a side note, 8 tabling 50NL is still an hourly rate of 50$, which is more than most jobs pay

Because I will kill myself if I lose 10k+ by a downswing.

Not trying to hijack thread, but I find it amazing that people can play lots of NL tables. It totally screws up my game. I could probably play 2, but I wouldn't enjoy it much. I can play 4 tables of shorthand limit pretty comfortably. I'm wondering what the highest NL stakes you can get away with multitabling at is. I mean, do people 8-table NL 400? Arn't your reads just going to go down the tube?
