I'm flattered but as a 0.43 PTBB winner I probably shouldn't be on that list . Also the guys on that list are miles ahead of me in that I'm a huge uncreative nit and they're not.

C4LL, while listening to good posters advice will improve your play, someone said something a while ago about how you should go about using the forums. It was something like 'I treat posted hands as discussions about the merits of different lines, not as people just giving answers. Ultimately it's up to me to process their arguments and come up with a conclusion myself.' It's incredibly powerful advice and if you put it into practice you'll improve way faster than people who post hands, wait for forum regs to comment and then just take their advice without any critical consideration.

Edit: ama plays goot too

Thx Xanta .... I just returned from my vacation from France yesterday ... and my 2+2 hiatus is over now (my paper is not yet turned in, but only editing remains, so I've survived the hard part)

And yeah, I plan on hitting the 100NL tables on friday (blew a nice chunk of my roll in Nice ... totally worth it), but hey .... most of the people I talk to are uNL'ers, so ...

Sup, in order to play those stats, you need awesome handreading skills and be able to make moves on people .... you cant at 25NL

For one thing your aggression sucks ... and secondly I'd tighten up your vpip to something like 18 untill you play higher stakes (and I prefer my pfr to be around 17 when playing a vpip of 18, but others settle for 14)

But that aside, your biggest problem is basically that you are raising too little and calling too much

You should listen to the advice of every poster than using your own brain determine whose advice is the best. i.e if I say call, thac says raise, gelford says fold, ama says push, you should try and realize why each one of us said what we said and which is the best. This shouldnt be a place where you get a direct answer, it should be a place where answers are brainstormed and debated, coming to your own conclusion.

Welcome to uNL yo.
