A few of my friends are totally and possibly exclusively into Asian girls. A few of my other friends would probably never date/seriously consider an Asian/Indian girl as a companion, although they might hook up with one. I think it's just a matter of taste to be honest, some people have a preference or a dispreference (word?) one way or another. Personally I think if a chick is hot, she's hot, regardless of ethnicity but I don't blame people for preferring one type over another. Some people prefer a porn star look, some prefer a "cute nerdy" girl look, all different levels on the same spectrum.

FWIW I think some of these chicks are super hot and I would jump through whatever they wanted to get with them.

East Indian models are unbelievable looking......saw a bunch on Anthony Bourdain's travel show and was absolutely floored. I'm thinking there is a huge difference in looks because of the caste system (highest caste = better looking than lowest caste). You could tell these models were from a high caste. Educated.

I think the problem with Indian women is that they are generally less attractive (at least to westerners) than average. Like the majority of Indian women just don't have facial features that white guys in America find attractive. However to compensate for that, when an Indian chick is hot, she is ridiculously, ridiculously hot.
