The amount of skill amassed at this table is so scary. And there's still PA and gabe thaler to come.
Hope whoever said the season only had 13 episodes is wrong. This has so much potential. |

Is anybody ever going to tell commentators that his name is DAGOSTINO, and not, DEEEEAGOSTINO.

[ QUOTE ] Terrible commentating by Gabe tonight. [/ QUOTE ] Indeed. Ivey raises 5bb behind one limper with QQ and that's not much of a raise, he lets Dee-agostino in with 74sooted and Daniel in with 64sooted. They're not calling with those hands because he didn't raise enough, Gabe. And is Gabe not from NYC? Has he never heard a D'Agostino's commercial on TV or the radio? Maybe he and AJ aren't in the studio at the same time? How many times can a Brooklyn Benza be expected to stand idly by for that? [/ QUOTE ] It looks like I started a get Gabe night when I said he read the board wrong in one hand. All the Gabe-haters are out. He didn't have a great night, agreed. But, you're the best, sirpupnyc. In the QQ Ivey hand, Gabe says he's only making it 3,000, a miminal raise, he's going to let JD and DN in. Sounds like a critism to me. But how could Gabe not know there's a commercial for a place named D'Agostino's in NYC and not make jokes so everybody outside of NYC would not have any idea what the f*ck he's talking about, outrageous, throw the bum out. |

Also him asking Daniel how much he's playing is a tell that he is drawing, even though as noted Gabe has no clue about why he asks that. But that's just a common way to figure out if you have implied odds, you see people live doing that a lot with small pocket pairs preflop to a raise, seeing if they can call. Big tell. [/ QUOTE ] There's just one problem with your thinking here. Brian didn't call after this "tell". He raised. |

Tonight's episode had some of the most atrocious post-flop cash game play I've ever seen. Horrible plays of big hands on all streets.
Ivey and Negreanu were embarrassingly bad tonight. Tournament players playing tournament style/strategy poker in cash games is just brutal to watch. - T |
