Seen these have risen 33% in last week, any ideas to why this is happening, a takeover perhaps, or anything else?

Wow, up another 10+% today. I hadn't been following it the last few days. Recent events have finally been positive.
----------------------------------------------- In an interview, the chairman of the House of Representatives Financial Services Committee said he is in no hurry and plans to consult with others on the matter. "I'm not ready to give you more details, but I will be by next week or so. We'll talk more about it later. There's no urgency on it," he said. |

Personally, I'm optimistic about things - lots of people probably are.

perhaps just profit taking as everyone and their mom was prob shorting it. with all the stuff going on behind the public i got to think alot of people are making some nice green with just a little inside information.
if you think about it, it prob is a good long term investment since it was prob with 50% of the lowest it would go (party is going anywhere, US on no US) and with any changes in US has huge upside longterm. |

isn't there a new legislation passed in the UK that makes it illegal for online casinos in the UK to take bets from non-UK residents?

isn't there a new legislation passed in the UK that makes it illegal for online casinos in the UK to take bets from non-UK residents? [/ QUOTE ] The legislation says that an online gaming licensee can't take bets from a customer in a prohibited country. a) The list of prohibited countries hasn't been provided yet. b) There aren't going to be any licensees anyway as they are going to be taxed at 15% of gaming profits - the rate had to be less than 5% to arouse any interest whatsoever from Party etc. |

[/ QUOTE ] Hmmmm if crypto were thinking that, they must be reconsidering as the tax rate is much higher than anticipated. The chancellor also stuck it to B&M as well with tax increases - basically completely screwing the policy of another government department. That's Scottish presbyterians for you... |
