The International Sandwich Shop AKA ISS. This is the best sub place I have ever been to. I go there about 3 times a week. The best bread I have ever had. I go there so often the people who work there know what I am going to order when I walk in. The only problem is the guy who owns the place is a complete tool.

[/ QUOTE ]

QFT -- ISS is the bomb. It was going to be the place I listed too.

CC, don't worry about Ray (owner). He's always been like that. I lived in the brick house next to ISS (talk about convenience) during my time there. We got to know him well. Any way to make a buck, and he'll do it. He's not as bad as you'd think though.

[/ QUOTE ]

Makes sense, although the dollar for changing cheese is ludicrous.

Littlejohn's - 24/7 sandwich shop that makes big sandwiches for cheap. nice and sloppy, my favorite is the cheesesteak and the Wild Turkey sandwich.

[/ QUOTE ]

Went down to UVA this past Thursday. Got hammered at bars and went to Littlejohn's. I got the Sampson (I think it had turkey, roastbeef, cheddar, mayo, tomato, lettuce), It was delicious.

Woodstock's is in a few college towns in California but is still some of the best pizza you'll ever eat, especially at 2:30AM.

We have a woodstocks in Davis, and I think there's one in Chico too. Freebirds is awesome, although I don't think I could eat if often if I lived in IV.
