Default Raising preflop in loose games?

is it actually worth raising preflop in loose games?
if you hav AA25 or AK26 or something, suited.

if i can get HU against lowchasers its fine but in multipots its really hard to win the high with AA and i feel like i otnen build pots OOP and then have to chekcfold flop when i miss.

better to call and see what comes?

You must raise to build an attractive pot and thus collect big when you hit.

it really depends how strong your hand is and who the players are and what your/their position is. not raising a hand like AA25 even with only 1 suited A is a crime. building a pot and raising for value, even in loose games where no one folds, is not to be under valued. raise when you have reason to raise, then play poker after you see the flop.
