Default Horrible Blind battle spew!

Cryptologic 2.00/4.00 Hold'em (5 handed) link

Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
3 folds, Hero raises, BB calls.

Flop: (4.00 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, BB calls.

Turn: (3.00 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, BB calls.

River: (5.00 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 7.00 BB.

Im assuming it's fine to bet out on any board when it's ss vs bb. But when that 3rd diamond hit's is that where I check/fold? ... by making the mistake on the turn I felt
I'd only bloated the pot and made a horrid crying call on the river. weak weak weak! Im hoping you're going to say .... check/fold the turn and be done with it. What would be the line to take if the turn gets checked behind me?

Check/fold river. Bet the turn if you´re up against a reasonable player.

It means that you don´t have table selected correctly. I would not be in that position but I guess we are mostly screwed with that kind of opponent behinds us.
I would check/fold turn and pick a seat to the left of him.

ok so this is a very important question then. what techniques do u use in regards of table selection? because just before ur reply I picked up The Psychology of Poker because I wanted to quickly review the section on LAG play. I noticed straight away I was positioned wrongly but didn't really know what to do to change it. There's usually between 2-5 players waiting on a table depending on the time of day etc. After I read your reply someone two to his left got up off the table, I tried to find the table I was on and was going to quickly take that seat because nobody was waiting for it, but just then I got dealt pocket Tens on the button ... played the hand and by the time the hand was over the seat was taken. So yeah my question is how do you go about your table selection techniques in a similar situation?

i dont like your line, the river call is real questionable. If he is betting into you, your not good real often, the A is a scare card given action, and he doesnt seem real scared. I bet bet check here, then consider the action and player for my final call or fold.

P.S. that pot isnt even close to bloated. i bet river imitating the ace if he checks behind on the turn.

I dont raise preflop with KQ against this guy oop, partly because we miss alot, and party because if u let him take control, he will bluff bet all day, bet lower pairs, and never fold to your CR when you do pair up the K or Q

That could be because he's bluffing. If he has 9 high is he gonna be scared to bluff? Of course not. If he has a lowish pair, is he gonna be scared to valuebet? Possibly. We can also discount a few better hands from his stats. An ace would usually 3 bet PF. A jack or flopped pair will often raise somewhere.

On the turn I would probably just bet, but danza's line might be good if we're getting bluff raised with any frequency, or if he's the type to bet when checked to, which looks fairly likely from his stats. I would feel like a spewmonkey check/calling down with king high, though, so I'd bet/fold the turn like a good 2+2 boy.

so you would just limp and play fit or fold with KQs here?
