If I dont balance my account and I overdraw it all the time then I could lose my job. Do they pay me to do this? No. Is it required for my job? Yes.

If you overdraw your personal account you will get fired? Have you been told this?

And what does this have to do with a golf pro practicing/learning the course and getting paid to do so?

[/ QUOTE ]

I see what you all mean about OP having to be a good golfer but if I cant keep my own account out of the red then who am I to tell someone else not to do it? Same difference if he is a bad golfer who is he to give tips or tell people how to play? Duh and yes I can lose my job if I overdraw my account too much. Its never happened but if it did my job could be up in the air.

X

Edit: You can call me retarded all you guys want to but I think its stupid to complain about 18 bucks when you get free [censored] from the golf course and get to play all the time for free and bring your friends. Come on its 18 bucks.

How are you still arguing this point? This is ridiculous. Give up, the man is doing his job and didn't get paid for it.

That said this whole thread seemed pretty pointless when the OP stated his boss was going to fix it. Obv the correct answer is wait for the boss to fix it. The only value of this thread is finding out who is retarded. X, you're number 1.

I don't understand how it can even be legal to make overtime half pay. That makes zero sense.

What that likely means is that overtime is 1.5X pay, which is very standard.

probably because he mostly does 'overtime' playing golf on his own, which is considered sort of a perk / fringe benefit but also a job-related task. doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

Id almost bet that it doesnt. I totally understand getting paid to play, but I think if these guys were getting paid 1.5x there would be a lot of abuse. Hell, id be playing every waking moment that I wasnt doing my other duties, if there were no restrictions.

Dids,

From the OP:

"The 1/2 time wage is simply 1/2 of what my hourly wage would be according to my base salary and a 40 hour week. It's not much, maybe $6 dollars an hour or so, but it usually adds up to around $2500 per year because of some of the busy months."

Pretty cut and dried to me. What is this thread doing to people?
