Default Single Blind

The local casinos have a 2-5 spread limit game w/ only
a single $2 blind. I'd prefer that they use
two blinds. When a couple of casinos have tried this
a few squeaky wheels have gotten them to change back.

So, I'm trying a new experiment: I'm skipping
my blind on every round and then post the blind in the CO
instead. Since there is no small blind, the whole thing
is live. While this probably gives me an advantange,
I'm hoping other people will start doing it and the players
will demand two blinds to combat this play.

Any thoughts?

I play a number of games that have either a single $1 or $2 blind and I like it. I like the fact that I can see many more hands with my buy-in so I don't get bleed down as fast when I'm card dead. The seat rent as it were is less, what's wrong with that? I guess if you want larger pots then that doesn't work for you. I think for TAG players it's the best deal going.

I think that a one blind game would make the game fundamentally more tight, and inherintly less profitable. However, if your opponents do not account for the lessened blind money in the pot, then it would be even more +EV.

How do your opponents play? If they correct for a smaller blind, then yes, I would try to change it. I think I would just talk to the floor and try to find other like-minded players who agreed with me to do the same.

Interesting idea, but what happens when the players complain about you first (before joining you for 2 blinds) and get the floor to rule against you somehow?
