I'm starting to think that an excel chart is necessary for some people here. When the amount of bills you pay is more than the amount of money you make, how exactly do you save up money? I guess I'll just start printing off $100's and hope some places take it.

Are you dumb. bills dont appear from nowhere. They will stop coming soon or when you stop spending. Then spend less than you did in the past. Or declare bakruptcy, wtf do I care.

What to do.

1) Get a new job ASAP

2) Talk to your creditors and bill companies who you owe money to and explain your situation...they will work with you. Mortgage holders do not want you to default on your mortgage, they will give you extra time if you ask....they are in the business of lending money, not selling defaulted real estate.

3) If you are nice, respectful and professional about it, they will give you extended periods of time to meet your financial obligations with maybe a few late fees and/or penalties.

What not to do:

1) Stop trying to find work b/c its hopeless

2) Ignore phone calls/inquiries from your creditors and billing companies because that will bring a default around faster.

this is probably the best advice you'll get on these forums.

Spend. Less. Money.

Sell your truck, buy a used POS if you have to have a car. If you don't have a job, you don't need a car. Try a bus.

Go down to Home Depot tomorrow morning and hang out with all the day workers. Work your ass off, get paid in cash.

Spend $15 on food this week.

There's no reason someone who worked hard couldn't make 3-4K a month delivering pizza/waiting tables/etc. Are your bills really more than this?

If so, how the [censored] did you get yourself into that much financial commitment without a job or a huge bankroll? If you had one of these, how did you lose it?

Also, I'm in for $10 on Full Tilt if you do the feces smearing thing.

Moral of OP's story:

1. spend until debt > income
2. give up and cry, since paying off interest and chipping away at debt is pointless
3. ?????
3.5 hopefully feces smear?
4. ROBUSTO!

I'll chip in 10 bucks for the feces thing too, but we need hi-res pics/video for proof.

See, begging can get you far, that's 30-40 bucks already..
