I cried pretty much the entire movie. Others not yet mentioned: My Life with Michael Keaton Shadowlands with Anthony Hopkins Vision Quest (WTF? yes, right at the end when he's trying so hard to pin Shute's shoulder down)

Whale Rider --- When the girl is giving her speech at the school about how special her grandfather is and he didn't even show up...one of the most moving scenes I've ever seen.

[/ QUOTE ] am the only one that was pissed off at this movie. i mean, yah, i felt bad for the little girl, but mostly that kid just pissed me off, and hte whole movie was very anti climatic. it just angered me how they were in a bad situation and didn't need to be, if only that kid wasn't such a little [censored].

if we're talking tv then a million episodes of the west wing. the donna hospital scene at the start of s2 is an especially good one.
(i've only seen s1-3 so no spoilers ty)

It's pretty tough to keep it together when Anthony Hopkins is weeping and weeping in the attic with the son. Off topic: If I were Debra Winger, I'd hire a full-time oncologist to follow me around, because I would be damned worried I might have cancer-jinxed myself. "Cancer-jinxed?!" Oh my.
