minnesota LHE players

it depends, but i think typically the 8 game is where people who have just escaped from an insane asylum flock to. the 15 game can have some decent players in it.

I know what you mean. I am winning player at 6/12 and would like to play higher but the two or three times I've jumped up to 8/16 it's almost more like bingo than poker. Having it capped before the flop 20% of the time just isn't cool for me. They just love to gamble it up and it kind of throws me.
Is the 8/16 always like this?
Anyone have any advice or insight into beating that 8/16 game?
