[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] The announcer is Ali Nejad. He and Phil Gordon were the announcers on the WSOP final table pay per view. They did a great job on that. They also do a really good job on ESPN's ProAm poker equalizer. I didn't watch week 1 just this week. I kept waiting to hear Gordon add his commentary. Just listening to Nejad give basic information bores me. They really handcuffed him and the show sucks alot because of it. I don't get it they had Gordon and Nejad together on the ProAm equalizer doing there normal commentating and there was still plenty of room for the players to talk and banter with each other. [/ QUOTE ] Not that this matters, but I watched the PPV of the final table, and did anyone else get the impression that Nejad is... erm, gay? [/ QUOTE ] LOL...I know Ali...he is a big-time ladies man. He's not gay. although he does give off that metro-sexual air sometimes |

Did anyone else pick up on vibes between Gus and Clonie? I'm 10% sure what she had to tell him off the air was that her panties were soaked!
It was similiar to something I saw out of this movie:

I don't get it. Is he trying to bust 2 PP's? He's in terrible shape against a pair and a better ace...

The blinds were big but not bad enough for that (he had 15bb). When the blinds were much lower, he's considering calling with AJo when Chris reraises all-in. I think he needs some lessons from Sklansky on these all-in fests. |
