Full tilt 10/20nl, effective stacks are 3100. All folds to SB (good semi-loose agro player) who makes it 70, I call with 33. Flop is Ad Jd 3h. He checks, I bet 120, he calls. Turn is Tc. He checks, I bet 275, he makes it 875....whats your play here?

Flat call and evaluate his R bet - obvious call if B pairs but otherwise you have postion "and that means 'power'"!

I call and re-evaluate the river, he could have been drawing and gotten there on the turn. If he checks river I think im checking behind

ok thanks. I ended up pushing on the turn just cause I was pretty sure he would be going all in on the river no matter what, and I dident want a K or Q to come and get bluffed by 2 pair. Turns out he did have KQ, but I spiked on the river anyhow.
Say you do just call the turn and a K or Q comes on the river, can you fold to an all in. If its some other blank you have to call down dont you? |
