Those are his real-life tatoos. I'm sure the writers would have had a difficult time incorporating their true meaning into the show.

Ana Lucia's group had a few children with them, who were kidnapped by The Others their first night on the island (the night Eko kills one of them). One of the kids had that teddy bear, and we saw it again (just the bear and the kid's feet) in one episode where The Others are sneaking through the jungle. Basically it just means that The Other kidnapped the kids and they are living among them now.

This show is becoming completely unwatchable. The tattoo backstory was so lame. The second island is lame. The Others and the Juliette marking was lame. And things were looking so promising after last week's episode... [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Speaking of that group of people, were those the rest of the survivors from the tail section of the plane that were dragged into the jungle that night Eko killed an other? I'm thinking that they are because when Jack asked her what she was doing with "them" (the others) she said that "they're not...it's complicated".

So these people aren't with the Others, so what are are they doing there? What are they there to "watch"? And are The Others just giving them free reign to go around watching stuff?

Any speculation?

Uggh...I have such a love hate relationship with this show.
