I think it would be more appropriate for them to tell the beta-testers that that is indeed what they are.

If there's any doubt or debate about this new system then Stars should let their customers know that they are indeed 'money transfer test-dummies'.

since they felt it appropriate to have beta-testing on it there naturally must be SOME doubt in their minds.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe ironing is for getting the wrinkles out.

If you have cracks, something more serious is required.

fwiw, i was able to sign up without having been "selected". I simply went to "cashier", then "buy chips", then click the icon for "get your free prepaid visa debit card", then click "deposit". It then asks you to verify your info and brings you to a screen which gives you your card number.

Uh... that means you were selected. If you hadn't been selected, you wouldn't have been able to see the icon.

maybe so, but they certainly didnt make me aware of being selected. No email, no notice on the site or anything.
