that episode should be leading towards the end of the season. we need some character building though. kurosh should be an all-state wrestler from his high school who falls in love with a beautiful girl. hes ripped like a [censored]. the girl turns out to be a whore and treats him like [censored]. kurosh falls heartbroken and lays in his bed for almost an entire year refusing to eat. his ripped abdomen soon turns to jelly and in an attempt to get his lost love back she gets him kicked out of college by making up a story and lying to the board. thats when kurosh decides its time to pursue his dream of poker stardom. he runs up his bankroll online until noone wants to play him in heads up any longer in erik123 fashion. in an attempt to find games and face new levels of competition he moves out to las vegas and thats when he meets the matador.

If you only have 3k maybe you should play 5/10 until you build your bankroll. One of the books recomends sitting at a table with at least 30 times the big bet. Which at 5/10 would be $300 and have at least ten times that amount in your bankroll to sustain a few losing sessions, which would be 3k.

Kurosh is staying with me at the Wyndham. Just thought I would make that announcement to all. I'm so excited, it's going to be hard to sleep tonight. Now I'll finally be able to see the anguish of bad beats and poor bankroll management written on his face, instead of written on 2p2. Life is good.

I am jealous, but I just had a great idea. 2+2 should set him up with a webcam, and make it part of the site. They can call it the TiltCam or the KuroshKam or something catchy like that. That page could be the biggest ad revenue generator on the entire site.

OMG. Genius.

Has someone registered www.theslowroadtobusto.com yet?

I thought The Matador was from Canada. I'll have to check with AdamStewart.

we need some character building though. kurosh should be an all-county lineman in 1995 with 15 tackles for a loss...

Ok. So, I am in LA now. I came with 4k in cash on me. Jason_t recommended I play 20/40 at the commerce and the people with me were supposed to be acting bankroll managers (silkyslim, ryan {dunno his 2p2 name}, and tongni). Tongni recommended I jump into the 100/200 game. Silkyslim wanted me to wait until I had 6k to play 40/80 and Ryan thought I should play immediately.

Despite all of this pressure, I played 20/40 for the first 2 hours. Now, let me explain something. I had just gotten off a plane and plane trips are always a pain. When they called me over for 20/40, the woman whose seat I was about to take wanted to play her last hand before the blind. Then she wanted to play around to her blind again. Then she decided not to leave. This entire time, I am standing directly behind her with 3 racks of chips because the floor told me to. I am already a little irritated before I sit down, but I am happy to be gambling and in a new city.

For the first 2 hours, I DO NOT WIN A POT. I split one pot and lost everything else. -1k. The pot I split, I had A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Qx vs AxJ[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. flop 9c 2 5c. turn 2c. river 5x. I was betting the entire way. Anyhow, now I am really really [censored] pissed. I walk over to Ryan and ask him what he thinks about playing 40/80 and he agrees. Silkyslim, acting bankroll manager, said I should move down and play 9/18 with him (clearly incorrect). Tongni was in the high limit room, so I decided to go ask him. I happened to walk by the 40/80 list on my way to Tongni. 30 minutes later I am only down $120. SWEET.

While leaving, Phil Ivey was literally 2 feet from my passenger side window. I tried to open to window to yell obscenities and challenge him to a headsup match, but I couldn't find the switch to open it. I will be back. His day will come.

I am now getting drunk and will return to play 3/6.
