Default $22 MTT Pokerstars

I had been pretty laggy and the opponents were even typing about it in the chatbox. Big stack knows I'm loose. I've been kicking ass in the tourney, and we're getting close to the bubble, but I play to win. How to proceed?

I'd fold here, I doubt BB is risking 3/4 of his stack at this stage of the tournament to win a t975 pot. I'd expect A9, 99, or 44 here a lot more than AQ or AJ. You've only got 1 pair and plenty of chips to find a better spot.

In my experience from playing alot of 20 deepstacks, this is almost always a big hand if villian is a typicall opponent.

A weak bet like this isnt weak in itself, but because the player is waektight and afraid to get outdrawn. He has a set probably.
Im surprised he didnt donkbet allin, just in case you would take a freecard.

But since you have a loose image and so, I cant imagin folding here could be right. I would call and hope its a weaker ace, but getting closer to the bubble and so I really doubt that honestly.

Villian is probably playing his own hand, and when he says its worth that many chips im afraid even though we hit a nice flop.

Your fear of being outdrawn argument would hold water if the flop was A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] but not on an A94r board. What can possibly outdraw a set on this board?

You made a good call.
