Do you guys have or use a VIP host at Party? Mine has been pretty helpful when replying to my emails. He actually reads them, researches a solution, and writes me back. It's pretty amazing really.

There are no whiny hands posted. Except bones's, which if I posted he would say "oh noes, I chopped an 80/20 ... the world is coming to an end ..." etc.
Also what the hell do you expect out of this thing? Ball's in your court. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Btw what did they say on the phone when ya called them? [/ QUOTE ] I'll upload a copy of the phone convo this evening. [/ QUOTE ] Looking forward to it, btw what buyin to you play? [/ QUOTE ] I was playing $55s (with $33s and $109s depending on bankroll, mood, speed of loading, etc.,). However, since they've stuffed up their software, I've been playing 6-max cash instead. 1000 hands of $25nl, 1000 hands of $50NL, and now just over 3000 hands of $100NL. Much less stress, much less complicated - easy money so far over my small sample. The following comments are one person's view. Your experience may be different. I was thinking about this at lunch, about comparing cash to SNGs using bankroll requirements: SNG level / Comfortable Bankroll for casual player* / Cash level a) $11 SNG = $500 = $25NL b) $22 SNG = $1000 = $50NL c) $55 SNG = $2500 = $100NL Decent long-term win rates, very approximate, especially with cash guesses: a) 15% ROI - 10ptbb/100 (?) b) 10% ROI - 8 ptbb/100 (?) c) 8% ROI - 6 ptbb/100 (?) "accessible" multi-tabling opportunities** a) 20*** - 8 b) 20 - 8 c) 16 - 8 $/hr profit using above numbers a) 33 - 25 b) 44 - 38 c) 70 - 57 *willing to move down ** accessible to vast majority of people; obviously statistical outliers exist; this is limited on PP by the number of SNGs actually running ***expressed in terms of speed SNGs per hour ****assumes 60 hands per hour per table Many of these numbers are wild guesses, hoplessly optimistic, and very approximate. They are, however, probably as good as any a response to people who ask about profitability of cash vs sngs, especially at low levels |

[/ QUOTE ] no, but then again, my levels and rake have increased by ten-fold in january compared to any previous month. i'm still only at their lowest level of frequent player level (although I envisage that I should make the second tier fairly comfortably by the end of this quarter) |

Josem, you'll probably see about 80-120 hands per hour at a 6-max table. using 100 hands/hr/table would give you more accurate results.

[/ QUOTE ] lol I posted the hand because it was funny, with no commentary about how I'm running or how the world isn't fair or how nobody is as unlucky as I am. I'd have posted it if it'd been me with the kings. Even with Cit's requests for the new thread, you can't help yourself. I'd like to request that this thread be retitled ***The Official Suzzer99 Pity Party Thread***. |

Dude the truth is if I posted that hand, exactly like you did, you would have been all over me. I wasn't trying to attack you for posting the hand, just pointing that out. (Edit: I did make it sound like your hand was whiny, bad turn of phrase, I didn't think it was whiny.)
I've shown my graph in this thread like everyone else does and cit said was ok. I thought we got some pretty good discussion out of it, and I tried to give something back with a long post about what I learned. You can rail on me all you want, but at least I try to contribute something along with my whining. 95% of your posts are just attacking someone for doing something stupid. Otherwise you tend to remain silent. Which is fine I guess as someone needs to take on that role. My role is to make people feel better about themselves through my pain. It takes a village.
